Each year, thousands of Chamber members participate in a variety of events that educate, inform and open doors for business professionals to do business with one another. Whether you’re looking for new sales leads, to voice your concerns to public officials or to learn the latest techniques for success in a particular industry, your Chamber of Commerce has the programming to help you succeed.

Annual Golf Classic
The Chamber's Annual Golf Classic attracts nearly 200 golfers for an afternoon round. The day concludes with a dinner and reception with awards and prizes presented. The Chamber's Annual Golf Tournament is held in June this year.
Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting is the Chamber’s premier event, attracting the majority of our members, city officials and community leaders. We have a strong member focus, keynote speaker, highlight the Chamber’s past successes, recognize outgoing leadership and pass the torch to the new Chair. The Chamber's Annual Meeting is held in January or February of each year.
Business After Hours
Business After Hours is the Chamber’s business-to-business networking, after-hours, showcase event. It provides great opportunities to meet new business people, showcase your products and services, and network your way to new business leads and contacts. Business After Hours is held in September each year in conjunction with various Chambers of Commerce and Business Associations.
Business Connection Breakfast
Held approximately six times a year, these events are designed to maximize your contacts in one morning. With three structured networking rounds over breakfast at our member’s best venues - you're guaranteed to expand your network!
Business Day at the Capitol
Business Day at the Capitol is an event put on by the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce. This is a half-day lobbying event where business people have an opportunity to communicate with MN legislators. The Saint Paul Area Chamber brings a small delegation to lobby our priorities.
Chamber Honors Gala
Celebrate the accomplishments of our Chamber volunteers and members at this event each fall. Awards to be presented include Outstanding Volunteer, Emerging Volunteer, Legacy of Leadership as well as the Deubener Awards. You won’t want to miss out on being part of this new event!
Chamber U
This program gives members the opportunity to participate in professional development and education events focused on important business topics. Held in an hour and a half time frame, these events will give you tangible ideas to take back and apply to your business. The classes will focus on topics such as social media, sales, marketing, and other relevant subjects.
Elected Officials’ Reception
The Chamber hosts a social reception honoring local, state and federal officials from the east metro area. This event provides a unique opportunity to share business issues with officials in a one-on-one setting. This annual event occurs late in the year, after the fall elections.
Holiday Open House Celebration
This annual event, the second Thursday of December, is held to recognize all members and thank them for their support over the past year. It is also an opportunity to network, enjoy tasty samples from our member companies and celebrate the holiday season.
Membership Meeting
The Chamber’s Membership Meetings will occur monthly and will focus on member–to-member networking and information sharing. Most months will feature a keynote speaker and networking over lunch. In 2011, we will also feature several networking focused events paired with a fun activity.
Chamber 101
Attend Member Orientation and learn about the variety of opportunities available to you as a Chamber member. The presentation includes an overview of services, committees, events, advertising, marketing, sponsorships, and additional value-added programs available to Chamber members only.
Minnesota Wild Face-Off Luncheon
Minnesota is the State of Hockey and Saint Paul is home to the Minnesota Wild. To help kick-off the new season and welcome the players, coaches and owners, the Chamber hosts the Face-Off Luncheon. You’ll want to be part of the excitement! A portion of the proceeds are donated to the MSE Community Fund.
Political Leadership Luncheons
Political Leadership Luncheons feature high profile figures from the state and federal level. Previous speakers include Governor Tim Pawlenty, Former Senator Norm Coleman, Senator Amy Klobuchar and many other recognized political analysts and elected officials.
Public Affairs Series
Public Officials Luncheons offer members the opportunity to visit and discuss issues facing the business community with elected and appointed officials. Luncheons may be held with Saint Paul/East Metro legislators, Mayors, Metropolitan Council, City Councils, Ramsey County Commissioners, School Boards, and U.S. Congressional members.
Social Receptions
The Chamber president and Board chair host an informal gathering at a member business. Enjoy light appetizers and drinks, become better acquainted and discuss business issues. These events are held five times per year.
Welcome Home Twins Luncheon
This event brings fans together to welcome the Minnesota Twins before the start of the major league baseball season. Meet the Minnesota Twins players, coaches and staff. A portion of the proceeds are donated to the Twins Community Fund.
Young Professionals
YPro events offer attendees the opportunity to build relationships, develop professionally, become politically and philanthropically active, and contribute to the economic development and high quality of living or working in the Saint Paul/East Metro Area. These monthly events include networking along with an educational component.
Cancellation Policy
Cash refunds will be made for cancelled registrations if they are made three days in advance. Otherwise, substitutions are welcome. A credit for a cancelled registration will be allowed provided the cancellation request is received by the event registrar at least one full business day prior to the start of the event.
